NYUSPS Access Program Information Session

Description: The 10-month NYU School of Professional Studies (NYUSPS) Access program is designed for graduating high school seniors who want to sharpen their academic and career focused skills, while deciding what comes next. This unique learning opportunity allows them to increase their readiness for college and/or the workforce through a curated set of courses that explore a professional field of their choosing and reinforce core academic competencies such as data literacy, and written and verbal communication. Cohort-based advisories led by an academic coach support students' program success and help them to navigate the exciting transition that lies ahead.

Upon successful completion of the Access program, students will have earned 24 college credits.

Upon joining NYUSPS Access, students are also conditionally admitted in their choice of an associate's degree program in Business, Healthcare Management or Information Systems. Those who are in good academic standing at the end of the NYUSPS Access program will have the option to continue their studies and complete their associate's degree through the NYUSPS McGhee Division for Undergraduate Studies.

Classes are held Friday (afternoons) and Saturday (mornings and afternoons)

To apply, you must be a high school senior scheduled to graduate high school in Spring 2017, and you must live in the NYC metropolitan area. NYUSPS Access is a non-residential program.
