Center for Applied Liberal Arts Virtual Information Session - MS in Translation

Description: The NYU School of Professional Studies Center for Applied Liberal Arts is pleased to invite you to participate in an online information session about its MS in Translation program.

The MS in Translation readies students for successful careers in one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide. It provides expert preparation for a broad array of translation needs in today's global economy while perfecting the transformative craft of communication across languages.

Earning the MS in Translation, offered by the NYU School of Professional Studies Center for Applied Liberal Arts can prepare you for the challenges and the opportunities in translation and cultural communication that lie ahead.

Program Features:
- 36 credits, available in full-time or part-time study
- Offered fully online in French into English, Spanish into English, and English into Spanish, and offered onsite in New York City in Chinese into English
- Provides in-depth studies in translation and terminology in addition to rigorous practical training with a focus on legal and financial texts and the use of translation technologies
- Electives designed to introduce career paths and meet industry needs, including software and website localization, translation for new media, interpreting, and editing / publishing
- Access to services through the NYUSPS Wasserman Center for Career Development
